Rice Souffle

  • 2 cups of creamy rice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 box of frozen peas
  • 1 mozzarella block
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • ¼ ground beef
  • 1 cup of parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup of milk
  • 1 bottle of simple tomato sauce purée
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Olive oil

How to make meat balls

  • In a medium-size bowl, place ground beef
  • Add 1 egg, milk, ½ cup of parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, a pinch of salt and pepper
  • Work the ingredients with your hands until the ground beef has absorbed them all
  • Take a small handful of ground beef and work it in your hand to make a meat-ball shape
  • Continue making meat balls with the rest of the ground beef
  • Place them on a dish and leave them to rest

How to make simple tomato sauce

  • E medium-size saucepan and place it on the stove
  • Turn the heat on at a low temperature
  • Add olive oil and clove of garlic – chopped
  • When simmering, add the bottle of tomato purée
  • Leave it on stove, stirring occasionally
  • When it boils, turn the heat and keep warm

How to prepare the rice souffle

  • Preheat the oven at 350°F
  • Cut up mozzarella block in thin slices
  • Cook rice in a saucepan with 2 cups of water
  • Brake 2 eggs in a separate bowl
  • Add salt, pepper and parmesan remaining parmesan cheese
  • Mix them all together
  • Add tomato sauce and mix again
  • Place cooked rice in a large bowl and pour sauce on it
  • Mix and stir
  • Add mozzarella, peas and meat balls and mix well
  • Take a medium-size oven pan, spray it with cooking spray
  • Pour rice evenly and cover it with a sprinkle of bread crumbs
  • Bake for 30 minutes
