Samsung announced Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 + smartphones

At the scheduled event in New York, Samsung just introduced its new smartphones star: Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 +, of which we already knew several characteristics due to leaks that occurred in recent weeks.

The new smartphones, in addition to being the first to use a 10nm chip, have the Always On screen feature that at all times allows you to view information such as time or calendar, even if the screen is off. It also offers the Multi Windows function, which allows running two applications at the same time without changing the screen.

As everyone knows and as announced by Samsung a few days ago, these smartphones will include Samsung’s new virtual assistant: Bixby, through which you can view updated content such as weather, alarms, reminders and more in a single place. In addition, Bixby analyzes the usage patterns to provide suggestions such as information, applications and functions based on the user’s routine.

In addition, this assistant includes Bixby Vision, a visual search engine that allows you to obtain relevant information when scanning something or with the camera to search for products online that can be found in the surroundings or nearby places. You can also translate text. Samsung included a dedicated button to call Bixby at any time or you can also say with your Bixby and the attendant will answer them.

The Galaxy S8 and S8 + feature that allows you to transmit audio via Bluetooth to two headphones or speakers at the same time, offering the ability to adjust the volume for each device separately.

These smartphones include an iris sensor that scans and recognizes the user’s iris to unlock the smartphone, authenticate with their Samsung account, web services and more. They also include a fingerprint sensor which allows you to unlock the smartphone and pay with Samsung Pay. Both offer facial recognition that allows you to unlock the screen.

As for the protection of documents, images, videos, memos and applications, presents Secure Folder (Secure Folder) that allows to protect all this, so that no one but the user can access them. This folder can also be hidden when the device is unlocked

But in security is not everything, also includes Samsung Pass which is a password manager and website IDs. With Samsung Pass you can verify your identity in a secure way via biometric data, instead of entering username and password to authenticate with a web service.
